About the Show:

The Odd Couple (Female Version) is a fast-paced comedy that follows two recently divorced women who become unlikely roommates. Neat, high-strung Florence clashes spectacularly with laid-back, messy Olive as they attempt to navigate friendship, dating, and healing after heartbreak. As their opposing personalities collide, the apartment becomes a battleground of laughs, misunderstandings, and ultimately, hard-earned understanding. Neil Simon’s classic comedy shines with sharp wit, heart, and a fresh female perspective on love and friendship.

Character Breakdown

Florence Unger (late 30s–50s)

Recently divorced, neurotic, and obsessively neat. Florence is anxious, controlling, and emotionally fragile, yet deeply caring. She desperately wants order in her life—and in everyone else’s.

Olive Madison (late 30s–50s)

A divorced television producer who is messy, independent, and emotionally guarded. Olive is blunt, confident, and enjoys her freedom, but her laid-back exterior hides loneliness and vulnerability.

Vera (40s–60s)

Florence’s supportive and level-headed sister. Practical, warm, and grounded, Vera often serves as a voice of reason amid Florence’s emotional spirals.

Mickey (40s–60s)

One of Olive’s poker-playing friends. Witty, outspoken, and confident, Mickey enjoys banter and brings a bold presence to the group.

Renee (40s–60s)

Another poker buddy. Sharp-tongued, opinionated, and humorous, Renee isn’t afraid to speak her mind and stir the pot.

Sylvie (40s–60s)

The most nurturing of the poker group. Kind, thoughtful, and empathetic, Sylvie often acts as a mediator when tensions rise.

Manolo Costazuela (30s–50s)

A charming and flirtatious Spanish visitor. Manolo’s romantic gestures and smooth demeanor add excitement—and chaos to Olive and Florence’s already volatile dynamic.
