This workshop is created to help community theatre stage managers - especially newer ones - become more confident, organized, and effective in one of the most important jobs in theatre.

The training focuses on the full production process, including:

• Pre-audition preparation

• Auditions

• Rehearsals

• Tech week

• Performances

• Post-production duties

• It also covers practical responsibilities such as:

• Cast communication

• Taking rehearsal notes

• Managing props and set changes

• Calling cues

• Contingency planning

• Safety and organization

• Additional emphasis is placed on:

• Problem-solving

• Communication

• Decision-making

• Attention to detail

• Working calmly under pressure​
